My son is awesome. He’s been signing since he was 1. Reading since he was 2. He can count up to the 40’s and count to 100 by tens. I’m trying to teach him such things as his phone number and address for emergency reasons. And our next big project is memorizing the 50 states. He knows about 5, so far! Hah!

We play all kinds of learning games, like writing letters, words, or numbers on the sidewalk and running to them to make words, sentences, etc… It’s tons of fun! He loves his tag reader very much, too.

We nurture dance, singing, and visual arts. And he embraces it all. It’s amazing how much of a sponge he is. We try to cover it all. And he loves it. We do maybe 5-15 minute structured activities but then he runs off and likes to do a lot of this stuff by himself.

And his 10 month old sister is getting on board!! She’s already signing and saying a few words. And she loooooves to dance. I have a wonderful classroom in my home :) 14 months ago

every day I make sure we all do a few rounds of tickles and laughs. My son LOVES to be tickled, but sometimes, we don’t need to tickle to laugh. I’ll start laughing and then my son starts laughing and my daughter, just two months, does her cute little almost laughs. next thing i know, i’m cracking up from all the cuteness. sometimes, you just gotta start laughing… and the laughter does the rest :) 23 months ago
