It was about 9 miles round trip. I was huffing and puffing like I was going to die, but it’s been a while since I was on the bike so I’m not taking it to heart too much (literally, I didn’t have a heart attack so I’m not taking it to heart). Ordered a Camelbak today because my bike has no convenient place to store water and sharing a bottle the way we have been is absurd, and I finally broke down and got a helmet as well. I know I should be safety first, but we ride on a nice little trail so I’ve never really worried about a helmet. The weather is supposed to get pretty cold again for the next 10 days or so but as long as there’s no snow on the ground I’m going to try to go at least once this weekend. 2 years ago
