How to get my G2 by Allyson

"Expensive but rewarding~"

How I did it: I paid for driving school,  took my in class lessons for a few weeks in the dead of winter. I took in-car lessons for the last bit of winter into spring; I failed the G2 test the first time!! Then I went away, bought a car, drove more for practice, and went back and ACED it.

Then I moved to the city, gave the car to my mother, and now I take the bus.


Good times.

How I did it: I got my g1 license 2 months after my 16th birthday in sseptember, on november 14th.  After I got that, my dad took me out to random naighbourhoods that wern't built yet with new half finished houses, so not many cars or people.  The first time i hit the gas was so different then what i expected! I learned how to drive throughout winter, and I was pretty decent if I do say so myself.  I took the drivers ed classes over marc… Read how I did it…

    I’m still not comfortable with the steering wheel yet and I can’t anticipate how my car will move. I already did my driving lessons, but I still suck! I recently got a refresher lesson and the instructor said I would have failed 5 times already. D:

    MOAR practice is what I need but no car to practice with!

    Almost there! 16 months ago

    So I’ve almost completed driving school, with only 4 lessons left. I still don’t feel comfortable enough for my road test though, I think I need a bit more practice and experience. However, I am very self-critical and sometimes I don’t believe in myself even when I should. I’ve had my G1 for over a year, and my goal is to get my G2 before September!

    I am really concerned, especially since I never went to driver’s ed at all…
