I can hardly do anything “daily”. lol I may end up having to tie this to other goals, like getting up earlier, etc.
Having a quiet time with my God in the morning makes the rest of my day worth living. I used to be in the swing of it but some how it went away… I want it back.
This week has been a good week for my quiet time. I’ve had quiet time with God the past four days. The only thing is that my times are all at different hours of the day! Next I’m trying to concentrate on having my quiet time at the same time everyday, which means I might have to consider waking up early and that’s a bigger struggle than having my quiet time!
I have tried so many things in order to be able to keep a regular daily quiet time. I have purchased daily devotionals, but the I get caught up and forget about them. I have tried having a quiet time at different hours during the day, and this usually works well for a few days until something happens that takes that time away. I like routine, but it seems like my routine is always changing. Starting this week I am committing myself to a daily quiet time…maybe having accountability on this website will help…anyone want to be an accountability partner?
Anything to get me back on the horse. I dont care when in my day i pick up the bible – just sometime for any amount of time would be nice!

Especially as a busy mom. I usually take a few minutes with my coffee after I drop the kids at school. Get centered, just breathe. I highly recommend it.
I would really like to wake up early (before my children-which is early!) and spend time in quiet with God. BUT I am not motivated to do this in the morning! God is really going to need to get me out of bed! If I can do this, it would be a great time for devotions, Bible reading, and prayer.

I actually have a lot of quiet time because we don’t have a tv or radio at home. I love the silence of our home… I would like to experience it more consciously though. Kinda like a mini-meditation, once a day. So even though I don’t have a lot of noise around me when I’m home I would like to keep working on this goal. Need to quiet the mental noise, too.
