see Blur live

Sucks, because I’m a really big fan, and I don’t know if I’ll ever really get to see them in person or anything. Or any of the other projects of Damon’s, either. Graham might hang around a bit longer. Like to see him too. Being in Aussie sucks; if I were in England, a local person, no problems I’d shell out to see them. Such is life. Theyre really good, though…

Being a “late blooming” fan, I missed seeing any of their live gigs when they were all together. I’d probably pay in the thousands and fly all the way over to the UK to see them perform live if they did it all together again now. I would hope they’d play a few of their old hits as well, of course! ;)

I’ve missed them playing local venues on too many occasions now… The worst was Blackburn in 2003. I’ve been listening to their music for 11 years, have all their releases, love Alex James beyond all comprehension, and yet I’ve never seen any of them in person?!

I’ll never be able to go back to 94/95 and see them “in their prime”, but I’m pretty positive a Blur gig then or twenty years from now would have the same effect – My life is nae complete until I see them!

Apparently, they’re playing some small, un-hyped gigs before Christmas…
