How to go to Barcelona
How I did it: partly backpacking on my own, partly with friends, hostels, renting an apartment. i found a good deal through Iberia airlines stopping in Madrid on the way from NYC. i took the bus to the Costa Brava too
Lessons & tips: go to everything Gaudi, go to the beach- it's incredible, wander around El Born, get lost, visit the markets in Barceloneta, eat as many croissants as humanly possible, see the Chocolate Museum

I always thought I’d retire and move to Italy after going to Rome and Venice; last year my wife talked me into going to Madrid, ES instead of Italy and I LOVED it! She went to school in Spain, and she says Barcelona is 100x more fun than Madrid. I’d like to find out.

Barcelona Spain is fascinating! I’ve seen images on Flickr.com and shouldn’t miss visiting the place if I could.
You really do fall in love with this city. It is gorgeous. I stayed there for 3 days after 4 days in Paris and, while Paris was great, we found Barcelona to be more relaxing. We enjoyed the people, the food, the vibe, everything about it! We will definitely be going back. We were already planning out next trip back before we even left!
*if you go, don’t miss the huge cemetery behind Mont Junic! Its amazing.
Barcelona was my first home before Mexico and London. ITS FRICKIN BEAUTIFUL! yeah. evry time you go there you discover something new and absolutely amazing! its full of secrets, vibes, mysteries, beauty, history and magic. And dont listen to the ones who say beware of Gitanos, most of them are really friendly!
watermelonmoon going for it
I am in love with Barcelona. I’ve been there tree times now and I keep wanting to go back. The people there are so relaxed and easygoing. The city is beautiful and it’s always exiting to be there, even when you’re not doing anything.
