The first time I saw Saturn, it made me feel so small. It was like a myth to me before I actually saw it with my own eye(s).

I used an old refraction telescope. A simple one borrowed from my cousin.
In my home city, the sky is quite dark and I could see Saturn and Jupiter. Really worth doing this!!!
I was the last person to see it that night too. The minute I stepped away, clouds covered the sky.

i viewed it through a telescope at my old school…it was very tiny…it looked like a glow in the dark sticker, but you could see the rings…lovely
The rings were fully bright, but I couldn’t see any detail in them or the gap between the planet and its rings.
(Go Cassini!)
You begin to realize we’re somewhat small and meaningless the more you see in the heavens – but at the same time special. Awe inspiring. I’ve seen it dozens of times and it never gets old.
