get my real estate license

i realize that getting my real estate license is doable. im sorta a shy person, but i CAN do this. i may try out some online schools. thanks you guys that have gotten your license for giving me some insight. ltanksley

Signing up for mykut classes in the next week.

I talked to my mom and as we all know, Moms always know best! :) I usually don’t see this right away because I am just as stubborn and hard-headed as she is but push come to shove…she’s right. She has been “suggesting” to me to get my real estate license for a few years now. For general purposes of educating and preparing myself for the real world, house hunting and all but even more importantly, seeing as how my new career is in property management, this could further my career. Granted I’m not sure property management is what I want to do for the rest of my life, but I’m damn good at it and who knows what could come of it. Maybe one of these days I’ll save myself the trouble and just listen! :)

I did 3 modules yesterday and it took me 2 hours. It’s so monotonous because I’ve been doing this since I was 17 … I know most of the answers and some of the questions are just plain and simple. Hopefully I will do 3 more modules tonight or tomorrow.

Every market has its ups and downs – I think it’s a great time to get a real estate license. I plan to do this part-time to supplement my real job. I’ve always wanted to know more about real estate too, and it fits well with my full-time job in business development. Today I bought a book to start studying. It came with a CD and 4 sample tests.

I work for a Real Estate company, there is no reason I shouldn’t become an Agent. My broker teaches classes…I’m thinking this summer it will be time to sign up.

well today sets everything off….well not completely…i just received info from allied schools about getting a texas salesperson real estate license. Im so exicted. I have been into direct sales, so real estate may not be so difficult. Right?

I am very excited to finally start work on this goal. It has been a long time coming, but I know the time is now right for me to pursue this goal. Next year is going to be awesome because I know that getting my license to wheel and deal properties is only the start of many good things to come. 3-5 years time I could be holding an awesome portfolio of properties.

Even though I never sold houses, this now seems like a must for me to understand how housing works. If you ever plan on buying a house, this is only a couple hundred dollars and very worth it.
