see the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus

It was a great show, but the one thing that didn’t make it “good” was the fact that animals were present. Yeah, I know.. that’s to be expected in a circus. Prior to watching the show, the thought of animal cruelty entered my mind and it made me uncomfortable. When we reached the place, sure enough, there were animal cruelty pamphlets and banners around. I felt extremely guilty about attending, and I even told my friend this when we were in the car. I have to say that the cat act was adorable (a bit hypocritical of me, but I think the Elephant and Tiger acts were the most disturbing for some reason). Proof that Cirque du Soleil exists and is highly successful shows that you don’t need animals to make a circus an extraordinary event.

I loved it!!! Had an absolute blast and would like to go back. My advice though…..get center ring seats if at all possible. It’s like overload for the senses…..but it’s great!! :)
