rework my budget

Every fortnight for months when I sit down with our living budget, it’s repeatedly thrown into mayhem with unexpected expenses. New car tyres, surgeons fees, unexpected bills, extra regular costs that are normally covered by child support (which is irregular), car hiccups, appliance hiccups etc.

My next three big purchases are a booster seat (this budget), a new washing machine, and a new mattress. Then of course it’s the mad savings dash for the car insurance, rego etc due in the next few months.

Wouldn’t we all love a cash fairy to help out occasionally? Thank god for being able to be creative at making my dollar stretch. :-)

Trying to juggle life’s little (and not so little) bills on a small budget is a non stop challenge.

now that I’ve enrolled my little one into Tae Kwon Do classes I have to find that extra money each week.

A big decision to go ahead witht he classes, however the school that we’re going to for classes has such a great system of teaching life skills, safety skills and martial art techniques, I think it’s worth every cent.

Need to add a new gal to keep myself moving on the market items that I need to make…....

Saw my financial consultant last week. Have restructured quite a lot, and am on the way to some structure again. The budget will be tight as always, but hopefully we’ll be able to stay on top of the bills and manage to afford decent food too.

So will be able to set up automated payment asap. Am also seeing my financial consultant Wednesday morning to re-structure our savings/living budget.

Hope to be able to actually start saving very soon. Yay!

I’ve got it all set up. Its scary. I need to eat out a lot less!

I have been doing really well sticking to my budget lately. But now my housemate has informed me that he is moving out. Now I either need to find a new housemate or learn to live without that extra income. I’m leaning toward living alone.

I need to rework my savings and payment plans to make sure this is possible, and figure out just how much I’ll be left with after the regular bills.

I completed this a few weeks ago. I didn’t take very long—just had to crunch some new numbers. Now I just hope I can stick to my budget!

A few payments and expenses have changed since I last prepared my budget, so I need to recalculate it.
