I touched a snake this morning at the local reptile centre. It was a python of some sort i think.
They’re surprisingly warm and smooth.. and very muscley!
How I did it: I was taken to a nature camp from school. Here we were shown many different snakes, and were asked to touch an eight month python. I was scared in the beginning but thrilled at the end. It was a great experience. At least I don't fear snakes any more!
Lessons & tips: *Don't make sudden movements.
*Stay away.

joie de vivre is mellow
My hands would always smell bad afterwards. It was fun to scare the girly-girls, but not worth the awful smell.
It’s simply like touching silk. Feeling the weight of a snake on your shoulder is one of the greatest things in the world!
One of my neighbours had one. He was a drunk and always left the snake’s cage open so he’d have to run back and forth into and out of his house. Pretty funny. I can’t remember the snake’s name… but it was really cool.
