Completed my child care course 2 years ago

This was a very difficult 2 years, and there were a lot of times when I felt I’d never qualify. Having already tried college and flunking, I thought getting a diploma was far-fetched. But, I did it, I’m now a qualified nursery nurse, and that, to date, has been the most difficult thing I’ve had to do :) And I got a C, which I’m very happy about.

New plan 2 years ago

If I can complete all of my work for my course, and pass to a good grade, then this will be done. I have worked my a** off with this course. That will be doing something because it’s right, but definitely not easy :)

The right things... 2 years ago

are sometimes the hardest things to do! Well worth it in the end, but hard all the same! Good luck to all of you trying to do this. It takes courage and strength, but I know you can!

It won't happen 2 years ago

I’m going to have to wait for another deadline type opportunity to have this goal crossed off. I was ill for a couple of weeks, and things have accumilated into more than 14 pieces of work, and I have all in all, 4 weeks to hand a lot of work in. I know I won’t be able, physically, to hand it all in. There are not enough hours in the day :) but I am soldiering on with it, and the aim is to get as much as is humanly possible completed by Easter.

It’s not what I’d hoped for, but it’s better than worrying about it and achieving nothing.

EASIER SOFTER WAY OR THE HARDER RIGHT WAY? 2 years ago

I choose the “harder right way”. It produces more love, faith, hope and love. I don’t want to pay anymore “consequences” for my trying to do it the “easier softer way.

Right... 2 years ago

This is how I’m going to do it. I have 12 weeks in which to finish all of my child care work. I have, at present, 14 pieces to do. So, if I can get them all done and handed in for that time, I can then say I have completed this :) Sound good?

Time scale? Umm... 2 years ago

I really don’t know when I’ll be able to check this off on my list, as these kind of decisions don’t crop up for me on a very regular basis. I suppose in that sense I’m lucky. Still, it’s something I want to be able to do.

a.k.a. taking the high road 2 years ago

It’s not just doing things because they’re right and easy, it’s also about doing things even though they’re difficult because it’s what’s right.

It’s so tempting to do things that are wrong and easy, and even more tempting to not do things that are difficult and right.

A little more clarity 2 years ago

I do tend to leave things until the last minute, although I’ve gotten better this autumn, especially with my work from college. It’s not something I immediately start when I get home. I believe that I should be doing work asap. It leaves more time for the fun things in life :)

Specifically? 2 years ago

I’ve been in two relationships where I was too afraid to end things, as I was hoping that things would get better magically, which is never likely. I have to be confident enough to say enough is enough, particularly in this part of my life. But it goes for other parts too, I have to do the things that need to be done, and not put them off.
