Find a church in my neighborhood

Tried a new church. Went with my girlfriend. The sermon was pretty good, although the choir was way excitable for 11am. Unfortunately the minister is retiring at the end of the summer, so who knows who the next leader will be. Possibility though, I suppose.

On my walk today, went around and wrote down the start times of all the services at churches that interest me. All 11am except one that’s at 1030. One even has a Sunday evening service. That’d be nice!

Wow! Finally made it to a church in the ‘hood! It was okay, but I want to keep trying different ones! There sure weren’t a lot of people there. Kind of sad, considering what an amazing place it was inside.

Five years or so ago, I looked really hard for a good church. The one I found took over an hour to get to. I can’t do that anymore. I’ve even changed to a Brooklyn hairdresser because of my laziness on the weekends. So, it would be nice, before the holidays, to try some in my ‘hood! If only I had someone to go with me…
