buy a lakehouse

Might take part of Friday off and go look at a few properties. I would like to complete this goal soon. :)

Since the other house fell through, we have been looking on and off for the last few months.. the search continues for just the right place for us!

Well, we were gone a week and we are back..found out yesterday that the house is still on the market. Negotiations didn’t get finalized with the other buyer that stepped in when our offer wasn’t accepted. Is it meant to be??? Not sure if we will jump back in or not..

Well, we negotiated last week until we felt we couldn’t go up any more.. we were still a bit away from where the seller wanted us to be, but we felt we couldn’t go up any more, so the seller went to another buyer and is still negotiating with them (and have been since we left for the cruise on Thursday)... can’t seem to get this house out of my mind, since it is everything I would want in a house, but I know that if it is meant to be, it will come back to us, if not, then it will be sold and we will keep looking!

The negotiation continues..Put in the “final” offer this morning.. still a little bit away from where they want to be, so we may lose out.. I love this house. I really want this house, but I have to remember that if it isn’t meant to be, then it won’t happen.. I am not willing to bridge the gap and pay the price they are asking…this is exciting, but stressful too!

Getting close… looked at houses this weekend, put an offer last night and negotiated all day, back and forth..might not win this one, but we are moving in the right direction.

While I was gone on girls weekend last weekend, hubby found one he loved.. went back this weekend to see it..nice, but not sure it is the right one, none have been perfect.. maybe I’m being too picky?.. still looking and thinking…
