I heard that if you go to sleep then you grow taller! well anyways i need to sleep earlier this saturday i went to bed 5am… im working on this!
How to get to bed earlier
How I did it: i'd been going to bed way to late, like past 11pm. thats my usual time but becuse of uni workplacment i have to be up by 7.10-20 at the latest so i cldnt sleep in like i used to. so i have been so tired and have been 'red bull-ing' or 'V-ing' it quite a lot in the mornings lately. NEEDED SLEEP!!!
ok. basically made sure i had a shower way before i was ready for bed (like round 9- 9.30)
made sure i got as much stuff done as i could during the day or when i got home for work.
am still a bit tired but feeling better
decided that if its past 10.30 that i wouldnt read before bed otherwise i'd be up to late.
made a decision that i would be in bed by 10.30 every night

i am getting old?
i’ve been trying for a couple of weeks and it seems like whenever i get a reasonable amount of sleep i am more tired in the morning. and one night i got 3.5 hours of sleep and i was all jumpy and happy the next day (with only about 100 mL of weak mocha too).
maybe my body just needs to learn to sleep more…
Newleaf4HIM is going to live life, not watch it on t.v.
Well, I’m finally going to start trying to get to bed earlier. I’ve been wanting to tackle this resolution for months—. Well, it’s about 8 minutes to 11 and I’m about to get ready for bed as soon as I’m done here. I don’t know about you, but this is a record for me! MY SECRET is that 3 days ago I started one of my other challenges which is to go for one month without television. It has given me all the time I’ve needed to tackle many of my neglected life goals. I’m used to watching a lot of late night television and I think it was overstimulating my brain and keeping me up. I’m also limiting my computer time to the bare minimum, like checking e-mail and giving receiving/encouragement here on 43 things. Plus, I USUALLY try to finish up on the computer a couple of hours before bed unless I’ve been out all night (like tonight) I miss t.v. but i’m seeing now, how much time I have to accomplish my goals and I’m kind of excited about it! I just wish more people would take on the challenge with me so if anyone gets inspired, it may help you with this goal and others, just like it helped me! Just an idea :)
Piratefandango monkeys!
Darnation. There’s always something interesting to do in the wee hours of the morn, I get so easily distracted. Need to buckle down and give myself a proper time to go to sleep (:
Now’s a better time than any to try!
i did this for like one week which was a huge change, and WOW! what a big difference it was =) talk about more energy, feeling thinner, and so much more happier….. wonderful change but i just got to work on making it a habit. (reccomended- 8 hrs a night right?)
spreadyourwings is happy!
I’ve crawled in at 3am most days this week. I’m shattered and thinking that I’m doing really poorly at this.
I’m not getting to bed before at least 2am each night. I thought when I switched time zones to the other side of the world I might be able to sort this out but clearly I’m a ridiculously stubborn night owl.
