Read the Scriptures daily

For a period in my life I went to church every day and often visited the sick and the dying. It was necessary then to support my involvement with the church by meditating on the prescribed readings for the day, so I knew what each day was for. I no longer read the Scriptures daily, except on Sundays or at vigils on Saturdays. It would be nice to get back to reading daily, and trying to understand what God is about. It will need a good deal of will power. Or persuasion. Human or otherwise.
