I have a GoodReads account and thus far I have 490 books listed under “to read” and the list keeps growing. It seems that no matter how many of them I read, there’s always more being added.

My TBR pile is under 200 again! I was afraid that when classes started back up a month ago my reading would slow down because I would be too busy reading only school-related material, but I’ve actually been reading more!
Finished “the Murder of Tutankhamen” today, it was excellent! I recommend it to anyone who loves Egyptian history, or is just plain interested in the mystery sounding King Tutankhamen.
I finished “A Journal of the Plague Year” last night, and started “the Murder of Tutankhamen” today. I think I’ll finish it in a couple of days. I need to concentrate a little more on “the Gathering Storm”, I really want to finish it before I go back to college in August.
I finished my Cicero book today, loved it! I’m going to spend the next couple days catching up in my Daily Bible and Churchill’s “the Gathering Storm”, rather than start any new books.

This isn’t a list of what I’m promising to read next year.
When I finish my 50 Book Challenge for this year, I’m going to start reading my unread Star Wars books. I have at least 37 I haven’t read yet, and that will put a definite dent in my TBR pile. I also have plenty of other fantasy type books that would be easy reads, if I just got around to reading them.
I finished another book today, “the Invisible Man” by Wells. I’ll probably finish “the Trial of Socrates” this week, and “Cicero: the Life and Times of Rome’s Greatest Politician” next week. I’ll also start “the Island of Dr. Moreau” next week, too.
I started going to the gym a couple days ago, and I’ve been bringing books with me so I can read while I’m on the stationery bike. I usually get an hour of uninterrupted reading while I’m there.
