get a semi meaningful job that pays well enough

not giving up- really just changing my goals in this area.

there’s a ghost at 43 things. This is not the goal I’ve chosen to have highlighted at this time. If one reads they can see that I’ve failed on this goal March 27, so the ghosts decided to taunt me and highlight it again for me I guess. And then it says I failed at some other things just because I didn’t feel like writing an entry. Phoeey.

Anyway the goal I had chosen to be highlighted currently is number 4 on the list. Kindly exit my list ghost.

I think my focus needs to be more on finding a job that will guarantee ( I need spell check ) me 40 hours and pays a bit better with health benefits. The “meaning” can come later. Or I can find it other ways.

Not sure if that’ll really get you by, at least not for the long term. I think it’s one of those in between things, you’re happy enough to stick around a little but once the smoke and mirrors are gone you’ll feel bored. I’ve barely finished school, so I guess that applies for many people in my situation…

I’ve already been at this place for 3 years, I’m looking for staying another year before saying adios. What’s keeping me there is a dream I have to make enough money by myself (through investments, other sideline incomes and contractual jobs) to just quit all of it and go live in another country where people know how to have fun and to live happily ;)

Where would that be, good question? For starters, it shouldn’t cost too much to live. I mean, needing 50k a year just to be “comfortable” is kind of ridiculous IMHO. I’m sure that with 20-30k a year, working half the time, I could live very decently in about half of the other places on earth. It’s just a matter of finding a place where I don’t feel like an alien, where the standards of living is decent and where I won’t get killed just for being myself.

Anyways, there’s GOTTA be something better than now. I’m not gonna just settle for piling up with others in some suburb where the state will milk me off half of my money and where goods are sold for 10 times what they are worth…

I have not done this. I don’t like my new job much and I don’t think it’ll last very long. And the thing is they’ve fixed your schedule where finding time to interview for another job is hard. The buzzards. They don’t know that hard hasn’t stopped me in the past.

I think I’ve actually done this!!! Not going to say anthing more because I don’t want to jinx it and I don’t start til March 27. But yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
