How to be in a photoshoot.
It made me
feel pretty.

How I did it: Well, I always wanted to model. Not exactly professionally but for something. So I sent out a bulliten on myspace asking if anyone knew a photographer and surely enough I was reffered to this girl at my school who does photography as a hobby. She was glad to help me and we had the photoshoot at the board walk. It was fun and I really liked how the pictures came out afterwards. It gave me a little bit of a confidence boost.
Lessons & tips:
- Find someone your comfortable working with.
- Be yourself, don't feel pressured to get all dolled up.

None of my friends believed me when I told them photographers were coming to my house to take pictures of me. I’m definitely not a model… and granted, the photo is for a business magazine – but I had a blast.
I was pretty much very awkward… all the way through… It can be nerve wracking when there are actual people on the other side of the camera. But the photographers and art director were super nice, and hopefully they actually have something they can work with! I’ll post the pic when the magazine comes out!

I have a friend who is a photography major that gathered some of us to help her with a project. It was a lot of fun, and now I’ve got some great photos of my friends and I that I can always look back on. I’m not interested in professional photography at all (I’m not photogenic enough to be a model), but I definitely would recommend anybody do something like this with their friends, just to capture some great memories and have some fun. :)

You know, its funny, i didnt have glamour shots in mind when i added this one, but after getting my glamour shots done i realized that it really was pretty much a photo shoot. Too bad i will never be in anything legit, but thats cool. :p They took like 40 frames and did my hair and makeup and stuff, it was pretty sick.

I was in a photoshoot when i was much much younger, and now I am looking to pursue those dreams again. Evenyone wish me luck :D
