have a fashion show

How I did it: i designed 4 outfits to show at my college's annual fashion show, CCSF. We had to present our ideas to a jury of teachers, then develop a certain number of outfits, and show them our progress by showing pictures or finished pieces. We had about 2.5 months in all to get everything done, and the week before i almost lost my mind thinking i would not get it all done. In the end it all came through, and seeing the models come out wearing my designs was an amazing experience!!! I met so many amazing creative people throughout the process, and I hope to do it again, except for real, during fashion week!!

Lessons & tips: you will always need more time than you think, and leave lots of time for last-minute fittings,  and finishing touches. keep all your pieces and accessories organized!
