i first heard of lojban because there was a link in the site justfuckinggoogleit.com. after learning some of its concepts and studying a bit, i fell in love with it. i couldn’t think of a geekier language to learn.

inspiring. i also heard a poem on it. its also amazingly good for speech recognition and computational interpretation due to its capacity to be amazingly unambiguous.

I found an interesting website: “Using UML to understand Lojban”.

Also, I bought a book, “What is Lojban?”, published by the Logical Language Group. (http://www.amazon.com/What-Lojban-i-lojban-mo/dp/0966028317)
It’s really been helpful so far for learning the structure of the language.

I’m impressed with myself. I started doing actual work on learning the language, and I already have a much better understanding of the language. I understand selbri, sumti, Fa/fe/fi/fo/fu, se-words, nu, and a few emotions.
I’m going to re-organize the rules of lojban (that I know) into a single condensed document. It’ll help me learn it.
Internal tanru (using be bei bou) still confuse the fuck out of me.

I’m in the process of learning, so if anyone wants to engage in mutual help, that’d be cool :)

I’m going to be mastering it over the vacation, while simultaneously developing a set of introductory lessons, which if I get approval, will teach at Hogeschool Rotterdam (Rotterdam University)

Q: How many Lojbanists does it take to change a broken light bulb?
A: Two: one to decide what to change it into, and one to figure out what kind of bulb emits broken light.

Lojban looks like the coolest language ever. It probably needs to become more popular, so I’m hopefully going to help jump start the trend.
