date a redhead

I dig redheads. I don’t think there is anything better than a fair skinned girl with freckles…and a head full of red. But everytime I find one it seems like they always tan all the time so they’re not pale. They put on 15 pounds of makeup to cover the freckles. And the worst…they dye their hair to cover the red. Tan if you really have to…but for God’s sake…save the freckles and red hair.

Well, let me tell you….

About me… Well, I grew up in Brentwood, California and lived there until I was about seventeen. Shortly after my birthday I joined the Marines, and spent the next six years serving my country. After they honorably discharged me, I moved around the country for a while, because I wanted to see as much as I could, before I settled down. I lived in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho… Oahu, Hawaii… Topsail Island, North Carolina… Boston, Massachusetts… Pensacola, Florida… and finally… Fort Worth, Texas. I moved here in 1999, and Tyler, my son, was born a year later in October of 2000. Though his mom and I did not stay together, we remain best of friends.

Work… I am currently in the IT/ IS field, and enjoy it immensely! Working as a consultant is rewarding, but I definitely want to keep moving forward in my field, so I am also enrolled in classes at North Lake College, to attain all my MCSE certifications. Psychology is my true calling, which is what I went to college for, but I need my PhD. or PsyD. to practice… and that is still years away. I will chip away at it, and will eventually open my own practice here in Texas. Speaking of computers… I am definitely a Mac person! lol Though I make my living working with PC’s, it is the fact that my Mac does not break down, that keeps me a huge fan. Plus… The graphics and programs are perfect for my hobby… photography.

There is so much that I enjoy doing… Travel, photography, playing with Tyler, Movies (all kinds,) Dinner out with friends, spending time with family, surfing, snow skiing, and well… life! Travel is one of my top ones, and I am about to leave for a short trip out to California, with my son, here in a few weeks. I went to Seattle about a month ago, to kayak and see the Orcas… and before that, I went to Hawaii in 2006, and Crested Butte, Colorado last winter. I mentioned digital photography… I am taking classes in Photoshop right now, and am getting better by the week. ; )

Chemistry is what I am looking for. I am a mellow guy, with a seven year old son. I love being a dad, and all that brings with it, but would really like to meet that… well… special someone. I don’t want to be too specific about the traits or attributes of the “perfect” woman, because I have been wrong in the past… Just let me say that both people know when it is right. It is more than the infatuation that we all go through at the start, and much more than the physical intimacy. It is a deep connection, which seems to only come about with time… with the right person. I hope to get married sometime, but if I don’t, then I am OK with that. I like who I am, and am not looking for someone to complete me… Rather, I am looking for someone to share this awesome life with!

Kind of personal, but I love women with Red hair. I grew up around the likes of Gweneth Paltrow, Jacob Dylan, Adrea Petty, and many others…but still am head over heals for beautiful women with natural red hair. (My family all lives in Malibu… (and I went to school at St. Augustine and Windward if you want to verify my claims…)
