i want to score at least 16 or 20 please help or tell me how for September 12
How to get a good score on the ACT
How I did it: I practically spent my whole life studying for standardized tests. Since elementary school I studied to get into Catholic private schools. Then it was the ACT, SAT, and AP. I got a 21, 22, 21. The only reason why I score so low is because of my reading speed (disability?)
Lessons & tips: Life is unfair. Some people have to work super hard just to get a 21 (that's me), for others don't have to study and can get 30's (one of my stoner friend). If you can't achieve a 25 on the ACT try again in life for the GMAT or MCAT if you can.
Resources: Kaplan, Barrons, Official Guide, Princeton Review, McGraw Hill, Online.

Finally figured out after six times with little improvement I should settle with my score. It’s important but not that important.

I know could have done better, but I still did pretty damn good. I didn’t study or even really try on anything. I feel bad for people who have to bust their asses just to get a 20.

Originally I wanted to get a perfect score of 36 on the ACT, but I realized it’s unrealistic. On my EXPLORE and PLAN tests I got 17 (below average) in every category. I thought I would get at least a 25 but I was wrong. I have a 3.5 and always have been an “above average student”, because the grading was inflated. I need to stop daydreaming and being nervous when I take the ACT test again. My goal now is to get at least get a 25 by:
*Studying for ACT 1 hour a day
*Write everyday
*Limit going on the computer to 30 minutes or day.
