i’ve never seen any other sport which is this challenging physically….it might just force me 2 giv up my laziness….unfortunately, i may be unable 2 start right now, time constraints….certainly worth doing…..

i took a rowing class once and loved it. the motion, the speed, the rythym. its meditative, like yoga. but ive never taken it further than that. i want to join a club this summer so i can get out there more. we have crew, but it would take a lot of time. maybe i will take it up in college.
Rowing is something I have done since I was 13. I rowed in high school, college, on the national team, and ever since then. I’ve coached, raised money, managed a national team, built boathouses, started foundations, and recruited a ton of people to do it with me. It is a great sport, and expecially for kids, is a healthy form of exercise that teaches lessons about sacrifice, delayed gratification, the value of team work and of hard work. I can’t say enough about it. Best of all – its fun!
I want to move up by at least 20 places by the end of the season (30 April – 5 weeks).
I joined rowing at my college, and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve ever done with my life. It’s hardcore, but the results are amazing.
It was the christmas pudding head race at my club today.
Everyone gets picked at random to be put into crew.
I got put in an rowing 8 and we won!!
AWESOME :D
My first time rowing too.
koreassets is smiling more.
Temporarily relocated to the “give-up pile” for a year. My back problems have prevented me from rowing this summer. But I will try again next year.
