i took a rowing class once and loved it. the motion, the speed, the rythym. its meditative, like yoga. but ive never taken it further than that. i want to join a club this summer so i can get out there more. we have crew, but it would take a lot of time. maybe i will take it up in college. 3 years ago
Rowing is something I have done since I was 13. I rowed in high school, college, on the national team, and ever since then. I’ve coached, raised money, managed a national team, built boathouses, started foundations, and recruited a ton of people to do it with me. It is a great sport, and expecially for kids, is a healthy form of exercise that teaches lessons about sacrifice, delayed gratification, the value of team work and of hard work. I can’t say enough about it. Best of all – its fun! 4 years ago
I want to move up by at least 20 places by the end of the season (30 April – 5 weeks). 4 years ago

Temporarily relocated to the “give-up pile” for a year. My back problems have prevented me from rowing this summer. But I will try again next year. 5 years ago
