so I realize that the National Novel Writing Month goal is not very realistic for me. I think it might have some good “pep talk” resources, but I will have to set a smaller goal for myself.
I’m trying to pick up my blog as a more reasonable project. 5 months ago
I put this in my goals because I need a way to express myself. I think writing may be one of my strengths. And it’s something I can do anytime I want.
I really hope to improve my writing skills though. I read through one person’s post here that enrolling in the National Novel Writing month helped them out. Hopefully it will have the same effect on me! 6 months ago
I am currently editing my teen romance novel but in the past two weeks I have managed to create my own website promoting my book and also a Facebook page, so publishers will more likely take me on if I get enough Likes. Please drop by and support me, so we can all accomplish our dreams together. My website includes a chapter sample so you can get a feel for what my novel’s about and so much more! And don’t forget to pass on the love. Thanks_

I have a friend who is really supportive about my dream to write a novel. He thinks I’m a good writer and that I have potential. So, when we went out last time, he surprised me with a brand new laptop. He knew I didn’t own one and he said that it would be a good way to launch me on my writing career. Plus, he gave me my first commission! Yeah, he knew I am NOT COOL about taking money from anyone, but he insisted. He said it was so I can get my place hooked up with internet connection. So, I will be doing just that.
We are co-writing a novel together (under pseudonyms) and now that I’ve accepted the laptop and the cash, I have no excuse to not start writing. Let’s see how things will work out. 17 months ago
I would like to enhance my writing skills before I graduate. Being able to write effectively is very important in the world today, hopefully I will be able to work on becoming a better writer by taking some writing intensive classes over the next few semesters. 2 years ago
How I did it: Write every single day. Write, edit, and proofread everything. Rinse and repeat this process over and over and over and over and over. Eventually, you'll realize you've come a long way with your work and cringe when you read things you wrote years ago. Read how I did it… 2 years ago
