I got a 20 on my ACT and I want a 30!
How to score a 30 on the ACT.
How I did it: There's an ACT practice site that is harder than the actual ACT. USE IT!!! It's the official ACT prep web page, so look for it. Also, don't set your goals for only a 30. Set them for a 35 or 36, that way you won't be stressing about whether or not you got a 30. It's fairly easy if you go in there prepared and with an open mind.
Lessons & tips: Use the web site and be prepared.

I made a 26. That sucks so bad, I barely improved..
However, all my subjects meet the college readiness benchmark or whatever.
RacerGirl8807 hates Commonplace. and her english class. a lot.
Got a barely-30 on my 3rd practice test…have another one that I can take so I’m aiming for a safe 30…I have a feeling the math section will be the death of me….

My Algebra II teacher is also an expert I think on the ACT, and he told me he would work with me and I’ll improve my score. He said a 30 wouldn’t be too difficult to attain.
:DD yesss!
I had a bad case of acute viral nasopharyngitis…better known as a cold. I came into the testing center 30 minutes late so I had to catch up on the english portion. I was on number 15 of the math section when the moderator said five minutes remaining and i nearly fell asleep on the science portion. While my score wasn’t nearly a 30 it wasn’t horrible if you consider my shortcomings. I ended up with a 21 but I seriously believe if I were more prepared and healthy I could’ve scored a 30 or within that range.

I got a 29. So I’m close. When I take it again in September, it will be my second (and hopefully LAST!) time.
Here’s to hoping!

I’m taking it in June, but I don’t expect success quite so soon.
Last November: 23 (beginning of ninth grade)
