change the way people think

I want people to realize that the world does not revolve around them. I wish everyone could be aware of how other people feel. I think that if everyone could step outside of themselves, and think from a new perspective, then somehow the world would change, and people wouldn’t be so selfish.
I’m not saying I want to change people, I just want them to be less cruel. To think of someone else for a change.

I want to change the way people think. I’ve come up with a saying lately, that you can’t change someone’s mind, all you can do is change the way they think, and let them decide for themselves. I want to get people to look at their lives differently; not as victims, but as the author of their own greatness. I want to get people to open their eyes to the potential lying in store for them to use. I’m tired of people thinking that they are the victim of circumstance or environment, and subsiding in their own complacency for mediocrity. I’m tired of great people hiding under their own insecurities. I want to help people to see their world from a new perspective, and to change the way they think!

...being confident in who you are and knowing what you think and believe. One way you can do this, is by not always agreeing with other people so fast, just to gain popularity or comradery. This may create conflict, but eventually the more you make valid reasons for not agreeing and going along with the flow, the more people will respect that and maybe even start agreeing with you; which will give you the chance to change other peoples perspectives.
