It’s really fun and he’s right, all you have to do is save al your cans. But you also have to look out for special editions as well as wehn you travel from city to city see what they have. For instance, we live in louisiana, and we went to Destin for vacation and discovered 4 different energy drinks they dont offer in louisiana. It’s really fun and you learn a lot!
Piece of pie this was. Simply save your cans. The only big decision to make is how to parse your collection, as it will eventually grow beyond your storage capacity. Will you include different types of the same drink? (i.e. RedBull and RedBull Sugar-free). Will you stick to 8 oz. bullet cans or include tall boys and bottles as well?.
The next step is to find the drinks and drink them. The first (and most obvious place) to look is your local supermarket. Next, hit up gas stations. You’ll find that different gas stations will usually have one or two drinks unique to them. The final place to look (if you’re interested in international energy drinks), is ethnic grocery stores. Asian supermarkets in particular tend to have a wide selection of cheap energy drinks from the Far East.

One of my personal favorite things to do is collect drinks while travelling (you’ll see that I’ve brought cans back from all over the world). Just be prepared to get strange looks from customs people upon re-entry…
