become an acupuncturist

fund a board exam savings account. It took me a little while to get to this point, but at least it’s going forward. At the rate I’m going, I could finish the whole process in 6 months. And I also found a person who would like to study with me, and really wants to finish up the biomed portion by the end of the year.

I’ve decided I’ll put some money per each paycheck and it should in October, I’ll be able to schedule the exam, and take it. Hooray.:) And in the time between, I’ll set up a study schedule.

When to take them, etc. I have a letter that states that I can sit for them, so my next step will be to raise the $300 to take the first exam. I’m not in a huge hurry. I’ve been enjoying my job, and I feel like I’m recuperating, healing, reviving a part of me. Strangely, I feel like waiting has been the best thing for me.

The cost of boards are pricy and I was planning to do this by March. It’s been nice, though, to go at a leisurely pace as I’d been so busy for the last four years. I’m enjoying a little break from it.

I am currently going to school at New York Chiropractic College for Acupuncture and I will be graduating next summer! And I absolutely love it.

because I’ve treated a fair number of people until I felt like I could treat people blindfolded. (Don’t worry. I won’t really try this.) But I will consider this goal done when I’m board certified and licensed, which my intentions are to pursue by the end of the first quarter of this year.:)

Ive just started a bachelors in acupuncture and TCM…its great!

I’ve been in a master’s program, studying acupuncture, massage, and herbology. Will hopefully be finished at the end of September! I feel like an acupuncturist already, though, because we’re required to spend about 1000 hours in clinic, and treat about 260 patients (for acupuncture) and 100 more for herbal diagnosis.

I am currently going to Pacific college of Oriental Medicine to learn acupuncture. I’m in my second year… it seems graduation is sooo far away!
