Dye my hair black

My eyebrows are blonde, so this will be a 2 step process. Step one: dye my eyebrows.

I’m a guy with a sort of emo/prep combination going. Kind of weird mix. But I’ve wanted to dye my hair for a while now.

im only fucking 19 and i have freaking gray hair, its gotten a lot worse since iraq…..gahhhhh

I think trying this out someday might be fun. My hair is almost black right now though… pretty dark brown.
But yeah, I think I’ll try this someday. :]

At first i dyed my hair blond, but it went so wrong, more orange like so i went the other way with hair coulours and got my boyfriend to get the darkest black out their, i think that it looks lush now!
The only anoying thing is the roots, as i have slight blond hair any way it tends to show!

I had it done four months ago. It was only supposed to last one, but it’s still there. I really like it, and now that it’s fading back to brown it makes it look really natural and pretty. My eyebrows were already black so I didn’t have to do anything to them. I will probably have it done again.

My mom will kill me if she ever sees me with black hair. She already hates my music, my makeup, and my room. Oh well, I guess I can wait… a little while anyway.

I have dyed my hair a LOT (i’m 16) and for the past year have been getting very blonde higlights every 6 weeks i would get full head, half head, full head half head! you know rotating! but i always have dark roots and i’m begnning to get so FRUSTRATED! SHOULD I DYE IT BLACK? i’ve always wanted to but will i regret it?

well i cant decide if i want to dye my hair black or not. my hair is a deep brown already that sometimes if the light isnt very good people think my hair is black. well this summer i thought i wanted to do something fun so i want to maybe dye my hair that mid night black color but i dont want it to you know be too dramatic…my eyes are very dark brown too, so it will still look semi natural, i think. well give my your opinions

For starters, THE color for me is made by brand “Clairol Professional” item name: “Complements” Permanent Color Cream: COLOR: 1A (black) #320120

WASH your hair dont condition. When drying comb it straight back revealing you forehead and temples.

Get good eyebrow tweezers mini mirror and little scissors. I buy this color tube stated above, 20 developer, pkg of disposable mascara wands, a 1” wide soft flat paintbrush, disposable rubber gloves, ALSO look up and find “plastic ear covers” on line or in a hair care store. they help. ALSO get a thick facial mask cream that you would like to treat your face with during this treatment. It will also serve to block your face from hair dye mishap drops.

Pluck / shape your eyebrows in the sun with good tweezers and a magnifying little hand mirror.
Comb the hairs upwards with a brow comb abd trim the excess that wigglers up above the brow. Yank out that one or two hairs that are abnormally long and bent. you dond need those.

Put you facial mask on w a brush right up to the hairline THICK, around the brows top and bottom. A great way to condition you skin as well as block and overflow of dye.

I also put a teeth whitening tray in at this point, another beauty treatment that stands out gloriously against black hair!

BUY plastic ear covers and put them on. Put rubber gloves on.

Mix the color with the develop in equal amounts with the paintbrush. BTW i’m a guy w a sort of superman/Ronald Reagan hairdo so i start at the temples with the brush very carefully. Be sure the brush is not dripping.

I for over twenty years i have had my hair cut to precision in a clark kent / ronald reagan style with my eyebrows shaped. I come from a family of redheads, but my hair is doodie brown (what most people who dye their hair black call their brown hair)as well as some red and now, unfortunately, some grey. I dye my hair and eyebrows at the same time, and used to dye my lashes myself but now have someone else do it. The risk is too high, really, go to someone for that.

Use the flat paintbrush to do your hairline around your face. My Ronald Reagan doo is very chiseled so keep the lines clean and concise. the face mask should meet right up to the dye. DONT let too much get on the brush cause it will drip – not ok.

Do your entire hairline patiently painting downwards, starting at the top of the temples. Each glop from a brush should be covering about 2 sq inches of fairly short hair.

Get a hand mirror and paint your hairline all around sideburns, over ears and down thru the backk.

Then get mascara wand and carefully comb color thru eyebrows. keep the color toward the center hairs of the brows because it will fan out and you dont want to paint to the edges or you’ll look like groucho marx. trust me, just the center us enough!

Use the mascara brush to do the the front of your hairline at the root combing it back. Dont use the brush at the front bottom of your forehead hairline – you will have black blotted forehead skin! Carefully comb bach with mascara brush.

THEN carefully scop (or have the dye in a dispenser) the dye on and into the main large areas of hair noe that the borders are done. use a mirror lkng in a mirror. Fill it up! patience will pay off. a patient job just takes a little longer and you will SO be haapy for its results.

wait 15-20 mins

Hunch down in the tub with shampoo and wash under the bath fawcet. when a huge lather is up click it over to shower and SLOWLY rise up. shampoo again (no dandruff shampoo it kills the luster of dyed hair). THEN use a serious facial exfoliant and wash you face and rub it into the hairline. Rumor was to use cigarette ashes but thats bull – you just need an exfoliant. thats what that did… but ew gross!

Moisturize your skin after drying off face and hair.

I put Vitapointe Creme Hairdress in my hair.

Any mishaps on your skin (and colorists arer lying if they say these arent a prob) will go away in a few days of religious head rubbing.
