My sponsor gave me this really cool workbook for all the steps. I’m on step four. I made the mistake of looking up step four on the internet and boy are there a lot of sites and there’s tons of suggestions and all … I have to remember KISS…keep it simple, stupid.
Just do what my sponsor set in front of me, don’t make it impossible so I throw my hands up in the air;
yup.
pinkcupcake24 is trudging that road of happy destiny
I just started this weekend… and I’m already feeling like crap haha. But I have hope that it’ll get done and it’ll be worth it.
So glad that I got steps 4 and 5 done. It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t fun, but it was such a relief to break the logjam (so to speak) and move forward.
This is perhaps the LEAST FUN thing I have ever done in my life, I must admit…
BUT… There’s a plus, even with just having written on it… I have a MUCH clearer picture of a bunch o’ crap I’ve been doing, and can watch for it already in my daily life…
And I’m sure that will only get more true with time and the rest of the steps…
It could be a lot worse, lol.

You’ve got all your life to work countless 4th steps. Get it down, get it fast, and get on with the steps. You’ll be more honest, open, and willing in your next 4th step, for by then you will have matured in your sobriety.
It took me 7 months to do my 4th step. It got done when I was finally willing because the pain was great enough to induce action. The minute I stopped trying to perfect my 4th step was the minute it got done. There are also a lot of guides that will help you organize your 4th step.
And always, ask God for help.
