I sell my car easily & effortlessly at a good prise for me & for the buyer !
How I did it: its weird that I'm a bit sad to see Evan go, cause he's been such a giant pain in the ass since I got him, but he was my first car so I guess it's understandable. or something. The guy came and got him like 10 minutes ago! And I did sell it for more than I was hoping to, which was pretty great. More money for moving OS! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I put my car up on Craigslist with all the info and said that I needed to sell it ASAP, and I sure did. Got offers instantly from lots of potential buyers. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started by trying to sell the car through a dealer (with the dealer taking commission). This proved unprofitable as the dealer wanted 1. to include an expensive warrantee, 2. a large comminssion + VAT, 3. to do a price cutting deal with a purchaser. This would have resulted in me getting 25% less for the car than I did.I then decided to sell the car privately by advertising in the press and on the web. This is expensive and time co… Read how I did it…

How I did it: After debating for months whether to sell my car or keep it, I finally decided it needed to be sold and no distractions like school to interfere with my plans. Put the ad up on Craigslist Monday, spent the afternoon cleaning out my stuff from the car, and Tuesday night the first guy that saw the car bought it. Now I got some cash to help buy new batteries for my EV! Read how I did it…

I listed it yesterday, the guy came and looked at it today, and he’s paying me and picking it up on Tuesday!!
It’s a bit sad, I love Evan (my car) cos I’ve had him since I first got my license, but it’s time for both of us to move on.
I’ll mark this as done when the guy picks it up :)

Sending blessings out to the Universe to sell my car at the right price & at the right time…
I just feel I would like to sell my car for an enviromentally friendly car or a very economical car to drive with regards to using less fuel.
Universe please guide me to the perfect car for me if I really do need one or to use public transport at this time in my life. I do need it for shopping, gym, yoga, getting to & from work & just in general, but could I cope with using public transport ?
See how it goes…

I was lucky that my dad helped me to see that the service was complete, althought they tried to charge a bit extra instead of the quoted price, but this was kindly fixed up by them, which was good. I will go back there now for the services if I don’t sell it soon, but will recommend them atleast.
My dad also changed both front light globes. I know how to change car lights now…always -
Have also printed out a for sale car sign to put on the inside window in addition to the carsales.com.au sticker.

I finally got my car listed on Craigslist yesterday and got about 10 calls last night, but won’t be showing the car until tonight. I had the title on my desk just the other day, but I couldn’t find it this morning. I really wish I could sell the car today, but hopefully the buyer won’t mind a bill of sale instead of the actual title if they come out to see the car this afternoon. In my head, I’m already spending the money from the car for my new Zap EV batteries! :-D

It wouldn’t start very well despite being only a fairly new car – Astra 2004 & very well looked after. My brother looked at it so he said it just needs the spark plugs replaced or something like that or the battery.
I just had a major service, detail & the main thing – the timing belt replaced so I’ll do this very soon. Also, the front lights need replacing too. Have to go into Holden to do this though.
I am blessing my car to sell it in the right time & space at a good price…to a person who will benefit from the car too.
Always be aware of why people don’t want the car, and try to address the issue. Originally my asking price was too high. And although I didn’t want too, I had to lower the price. It got to the point where at least I was able to sell it.
I still made money from the car. It was a 1984 Volkswagen Jetta that I bought for $500. I put about $500 back into the car fixing it up. The final selling price of the car was $1800. Sold to an awesome guy in NYC. So those in NYC keep an eye out for a really nice beige 84 Jetta.

so I gave the car to my parents, for her to use. The way I figure it, this prevents my parents from having to shell out some cash for my sister a car. Yeah, this keeps me from making some money, but in my lifetime my parents have spent far more than the value of a car on me, and have been so good to raise me as they have, that I feel compelled to give things to them to help them out. Now, no more car!

My Nissan Altima had been my backup car for a couple of years after I bought my electric car, with all it’s small problems left unfixed because I didn’t really need to drive the car every day. Last December through a leak in the engine core plug is now causing all the radiator fluid to run out and I decided to buy another vehicle instead of repair it. I’ve been so busy with school through that I never sold it through and it’s just been sitting for 6 months now (althrough I do run it every few weeks just to keep the engine lubricated). It’s resale value is not high enough to make it worth repairing before I sell it, so it will just be “as is” to the intrepid buyer that wants a cheap car that they can fix themselves. I will list it for sale this week.
