I highly recommend ‘Q&A’. It is a really good book.
Slumdog Millionaire is based on it, but apparently it’s quite different. I haven’t watched it yet because I am scared it’ll kill the book for me.

I have always found this to be rewarding and I enjoy it. However, for some reason I find it so hard to start and, more importantly, stick with it.
I’m always working on a book, but I’d like to find more time to read every day. I’ve got so many great books on my shelf that I’m chipping away at too slowly.
Durin the last 2 years I have read more books already than in the rest of my life, but I really want to start reading one good book per week from now on. There is so much valuable information in books!!
1. animal farm
2. East of Eden
3. The Sun also Rises

5. A Walk in the Woods
6. Eat, Pray, Love
7. Love in the Time of Cholera
8. The Way is made by Walking
I recently re-read The Hill of the Red Fox by Allan Campbell McLean. Set in the 50s in Trotternish on Skye, a twelve year old boy leaves his mother’s home in London to stay in his (dead) father’s house, and gets involved in a plot to smuggle atomic scientists to Russia. The book was every bit as brilliant as when I read it at school.
Then I read Allan Campbell McLean’s Master of Morgana. Also set on Trotternish, a sixteen year old boy suspects his brother’s near fatal accident is not an accident at all, and sets out to uncover why anyone would want to kill him. Again a wonderful read, with a beautiful setting and riveting plot.
