Make friends in Boston

Here in Boston for a couple of weeks from Baltimore.I am attending BU for a summer class. I would like to meet friends or just hang out with some cool people.

I am a 24 year old Swedish girl who is working with a company in Boston for a while. I am not interested in dating, I just want to make friends in the area to have a coffee, catch a movie or have a beer with.

I just graduated from college in Austin, Texas and moved to Boston 3 weeks ago for a job. I’m a pretty social person, but I discovered that it’s difficult to make friends outside of college classes (which is what I’m more used to). I love meeting new people, from all over the world. I’m Americanized but I’m not actually American, so I tend to click better with people who have lived abroad or enjoy traveling. I’d like to meet people with whom I could chat at a coffee shop, see a movie, go to interesting new events, or check out the Boston nightlife. Any ideas? Or anyone interested?

im in boston and dont know how to go about meeting people. im a cool guy to hang around with, laid back, comical, yadda yadda yadda, but the trick is to meet people and let them know how i am, which i have trouble doin. being lonely is no fun. im not looking for a girlfriend, just a friend.

I’m new to the area and looking to meet new people to become social with. I’m not looking for dates, just people to hang out with, grab coffee, dinner, a movie, etc. I have some friends in the area, but looking to make some new friends. I’m 32 and have a great job, but lacking social life. Any advice on where to go or what’s out there?

I am new to Boston and haven’t met people that I have clicked with. I am not doing this to date…I just want to meet people that like to go explore Boston, walk the Common, see a movie or go out for coffee.

I just moved back to Boston. Can’t figure out how people makes friends here…couldn’t figure that out when I lived here…once of the reasons I left. It’s weird to post like this. Does anyone have any recommendations of how to meet people here? Or just meet people friendly things to do…hopefully by the T?

I just graduated from Agricultural Engineering. I am going to Boston in February. I am going to start course in Language Student International. After that I am going to start an Internship program in a company for 13 month. I am learning English to speak. I need to someone’s help who they are living in Boston.

I am student doing an internship at MIT. I am 20 years old, staying in Cambridge. Here for 3 months. I am a sports buff. Like to watch movies. Also love the outdoors.
