Make friends in Boston

People:

I am a 26 yrs old, female professional in town. I have been here for a lil over 2 yrs and have lived in few other parts of the country before moving to Boston. One thing is for sure, its not just Boston but every where in US, its so hard to find some nice, fun loving, level headed, educated, not ‘so’ superficial female friends just to hang out with.

Wondering if people have any luck here. I m trying mine anyways. If there is anyone out who like to grab a drink and looking to expand their female friend circle feel free to write back.

I love Boston night life, traveling, movies, and I love to cook too. I am a people person. I have a boy friend and we both love to go out and have lot of friends. Its just that I just have too many guy friends and need some cool female friends :(....

Hi, my name is Molly. I am 21 years old. I just moved to Boston a month ago. I am taking classes part time for now and in the process of transferring somewhere in Boston full-time for January. I was in Pennsylvania at college for two and a half years and then took a semester off. It’s been difficult to meet people so far. Hi there! I am a grad student in BC’s Lynch School of Education, living in Brighton. While I’ve met some people in class and at work, I really like to hang out with a wide variety of people, so I thought I’d give this a shot.
I’m working on a Master’s in Higher Education, with a focus on Int’l ed. I lived in Amsterdam for half a year and love to travel. I work with International students now and enjoy learning about culture, lifestyles, and language. I really like to learn about most anything. General interests include:reading, art, cooking, discussions of the intellectual and ridiculous type, going to museums/other cultural attractions. That makes me sound really studious, but I also am very 420 friendly (if you follow :)), love going to clubs, playing Apples to Apples whilst drinking, and anything that’s amusing. I am 24 and I live outside the city, yet very close. Even though I have a job I like and great family, I only have 2 close friends which our out of state. I would really like to make some friends in the area and be able to go shopping, out in the city for drinks or dinner, ect.

I just graduated from college in Austin, Texas and moved to Boston 3 weeks ago for a job. I’m a pretty social person, but I discovered that it’s difficult to make friends outside of college classes (which is what I’m more used to). I love meeting new people, from all over the world. I’m Americanized but I’m not actually American, so I tend to click better with people who have lived abroad or enjoy traveling. I’d like to meet people with whom I could chat at a coffee shop, see a movie, go to interesting new events, or check out the Boston nightlife. Any ideas? Or anyone interested?
