My marks at the end of Year 12 were awful, so I went to TAFE + I’m now doing two courses – one is an Advanced Diploma of Justice, the other is a Cert 4 in Writing + Editing. The Justice one will give me up to 18 months off a university degree – I’m thinking about the Bachelor of Arts in Criminology/Criminal Justice, because I’m passionate about the Justice field + I really want to help people in some form or another.

How I did it: I never took a break from school between semesters or different scholarity levels, so I always was in the swing of things.
