About two hours ago I took a small dose of philosopher’s stones, psychedelic mushrooms, about half of what one would usually take. Have been smiling almost all the time since and spend the last twenty minutes staring at iTunes “music screensaver” patterns while listening to ambient of what I would rate average quality without psychedelics in my brain. These patterns look trippy all the time, but currently this is a very nice 2001 end sequence experience.
Will try to work (program) now, which was the original plan and the reason for the lower dosage. This is one goal worth pursuing.

A birthday party last wednesday with a lot of red and white wine marks the first small step towards the great goal of taking more drugs in 2006 and further on. Okay, alcohol is the easy one, but let’s start slow.
Was nice as usual, stopped once I realized I had enough, no headache, but a lot of fun. Some of my other goals interfere with my intended drug intake. Due to me trying to lose 40lbs, on wednesday I had one apple, one banana, one bowl of fish soup at the party. Combined this with one bottle or more of wine. Nice effect.
One other thing I’m trying to do is running a marathon, so I run >15km three times a week. While I am sure that running drunk is a very stupid idea and drugs and sports usually do not mix very well, I wonder how being intoxicated changes the motivation. It might either be great (“oh, the colors”) or less constructive (“who gives a damn about running anyway”).
Grace (from Will & Grace): “There was a bar IN THE POOL! I swear, swimming any other way but drunk is just stupid!”

I didn’t even touch alcohol till I was 23 (student party at university, vanilla ice with strawberries soaked in whatever, missed the door by several feet) and still take almost no drugs. I like getting drunk, since I get very funny and enjoy watching myself slowly losing control over my body, but always stop before having a chance to develop a hangover. This happens maybe four times a year, and I usually drink to get drunk, so I’m completely abstinent for about 360 days a year.
The last time I smoked pot is at least six years in the past, others even further. But all my drug experiences where very nice so far, so I think this should change. Since I take almost no drugs, the effect is even stronger if I do. Nice colors (followed by heavy headache) from mescaline, fantastic pictures on acid (watching David Lynch movies on LSD is great, but make sure the person you are with can handle the movie), and from pot alone very nice hallucinations about comic figures emerging from my kitchen wall and nodding to agree how sad it is that I cannot share this experience with someone. Others were nice too.
The only kicks I lately get are from runners high, and this only seldom and short in a combination with music. So I assume I should increase my drug intake (especially pot and acid), since I actually believe them to be mind expanding for me. This is not an urgent goal.
