buy a car

I finally bought my own car! This is so exciting! I only paid $500 for a Mazda 626. It was a great deal, got it from a friend of mine, so I know that it works and everything. I even have a sunroof! Woohoo!!

I’m going to need to practise in either my mum or dads car. My mum’s getting a brand new one in the next few weeks so there’s no way I’ll be allowed to drive that. My dad’s car is like a bus. It’s so big and ridiculous. It’s inevitable I’ll have bought a car before I pass my test or else I’ll never get any private practise. My dad even bought me cute little ‘L’ plates yesterday :’)

I’m starting to spend less money and save save save. I’m hoping to have enough money soon in the upcoming months. I don’t really care what kind of car it is or how fancy it is just that it is in good condition and it runs well. That’s all that matters to me at the time.

I’ve seen tons of cars I’ve liked on Craigslist but I have zero money. I just got a job though, so I’ll be saving up.

My mom found a 94 Jetta that I would love to own for $1500 and she’s trying to figure out a way to get a loan or something so that we can pay it off. Super stoked.

it’s used, it’s white, it’s beautiful :). now back to the basics of driving and relearning the rules.

about this goal. The “reliable” car I borrow isn’t so reliable and spending nights with Mr. Yes is so good for my sleep and happiness that I want to have the freedom to go to his house during the week. I could also join a gym and take an InDesign class if I had reliable transportation. I will buy a car at the end of August.

I’ve been driving my godmother’s Corolla while she’s out of town and I don’t much like it. I like Mr. Yes’s Versa and am seriously considering a Honda Fit. I need to ask my parents exactly how much they can loan me. I should have about $5k saved by then.
