How I did it: I spent weeks going to used car lots, and checking out online sites such as cars.com. Sometimes I'd see a great looking car, but it was too much money, or the fuel economy was bad. Once in a while I'd find what seemed to be the perfect car, only to go to the dealership and find that it was recently sold. Lessons & tips: This is one of the biggest investments of your life ... choose the car wisely. Resources: I looked up local used car dealerships and made a lot of great use out of www.cars.com

This weekend I got my dad to call for 3 cars. 2 had already gone and 1 was a repaired car that the dealer didn’t know the damage of.

I say distant future as I can ill afford to buy a bike at the moment :(

I’m experiencing a bit of guilt over this goal since the environment is very important for me, but so is the autonomy and freedom of having my own car. I’ll carpool, I promise!
Anyways, by the time I’ll get my driver license and have enough money to actually buy a car, the electric car will have been on the market for so long, I’ll probably be able to get a used one!
