Start Christmas Shopping

So yesterday I knocked my grab bag person off the list. :)
And I also bought something for one of my friends/co-workers and a little something for my boyfriend. So now whats left?

1. Something else for the boyfriend
2. Nieces
3. More little gifts here & there….

should be pretty easy.

I love buying gifts for people.

. . . between paying off credit cards and using some of my salary to buy Christmas gifts. It’s always a fun dance. Luckily I’m spending less on gifts than what is going to pay off debt. But I found the cutest gifts for girls at Tokyobay. Funny cat coin purses and compacts, etc. Have to get unusual things – so I can go for quality instead of quantity. Always thinking. But it’s fun to think of what other people might want – and what they could use. Will have to be prepared if someone asks what I want - more dark wooden hangers and wine/champagne. Have to restock. :) I’m easy to buy for – the best day to shop for me is 1 November – when all the Halloween things go on sale.

. . . for Christmas. It is easier on the budget to get started early. And actually, I have some presents already purchased. This year I really want to make sure to get things people want/can use – and not just things to take up space or be put away. If someone has everything, I’ll give to charity in their honour. Don’t have to dust a charitable gift.

Seriously, it’s worth doing. Start your shopping before December comes, and the crowds become insane.

Starting tomorrow! I’m going to start my shopping tomorrow, and tackle the first few gift ideas I have in mind. I love getting other people presents, and I love shopping. I’m going to love completing this goal.

I’m definitely going to begin this week. And I’ve been compiling lists, and going over what I could get friends and family (I realise I should really stop making lists, as I’m prone to leaving them lying around). I swore last year’s Christmas Eve present scramble would never happen again, and I hope it never will. :)

Started looking around for a lot of things i am going to buy for others. Made purchases today of body butter… and make-up brushes for my sister.

Adding this as early so i can start buying things little by little and not have to fork out a whole lot of cash mid December, at the last minute.

woo hoo i started. now all i have to do is finish :-p
