I couldn’t take it any longer. I had a gift card and a check from a reimbursement and today bought a TV/DVD combo. Just 22” but large enough. I put the old set on my curb. It was gone in under an hour. It must have weighed about 50 lbs.

I have a green TV. I don’t mean an environmentally friendly one. And I don’t mean a green housing. The picture is green. The color can no longer be adjusted. It’s not only ugly but hard on the eyes. I don’t need a fancy TV but I do need a new one!
We finally got a new tv. It’s not what I had in mind but it is very nice. At 46” it sure is different from the old 25” screen that died. I am glad to cross this off my list!

We (hubby & I) need to set a budget & find out what kind of TV we want. Then, we can buy the TV with our tax refund.
I just bought a new PS3 (one of my other goals) so I want to get a nice HD tv to go along with it (: The tv I currently have in my room is older than me (it’s around 19 years old). I have a job interview coming up, so if everything goes well, I won’t have to bust my ass doing a bunch of extra chores.
We STILL don’t have a new TV. I had an old TV that I sometimes used when I was working upstairs. Someone insisted on bringing that downstairs. So with that hooked up the urgency was gone and people kept changing their minds about what we should get. Every time I thought we had a concensus I did the research and found a suitable model but was never able to push the project to completion before the next wave of objections.
If you want something done quickly never consult a committee.

The TV arrived yesterday and I set it up on my floor. It’s a very nice picture and I am happy with it. I’m going to give my old one to a friend.

I’ve bought a TV, and I am now waiting for it to ship.

I’m looking for a 32” 1080p flatscreen TV.
Unfortunately, the best price I have seen so far is $899 for a Toshiba. I’m gonna go looking again this weekend.
Any suggestions?
