Tashitsomo Aiming for fabulousness!
I’ve got around to actually ordering the real thing! should be with me by Wednesday this week. Yo, can’t wait to read it.
Tashitsomo Aiming for fabulousness!
Bloomin Amazon sent me revision notes for schoolchildren instead of the actual novel I ordered! I feel so disappointed. Will send it back asap, and with any luck will have it in my hands next week.
Tashitsomo Aiming for fabulousness!
This is a book I remember reading when I was about 12 or 13yrs old. I cannot remember the contents, but know that it was a fabulous book, at least to the teenager I was at the time. I must give it another wee read just to see if I am still of the same opinion.
I got to read just a little more of Catcher in the Rye over the weekend. I am just up to the point where Holden is leaving Pencey.
I have read this novel several times, I approach age 40 it seems appropriate to read it again. Each time has been a different experience, and I look forward to seeing what Holden has to tell me at this stage of my life.
Catcher in the Rye is probably my favorite book of all time. I first read it at the age of 12, then again at 20. I think each time I read it I gained some sort of added perspective. I’m wondering what I can take away from it at the age of 25.
