trying to even out the year by losing 20 before the end of the year, haha be the shock of 2010.
How to lose 20 pounds by Christmas
How I did it: well, i was pretty strict, but i allowed myself to have cheat days, and did not punish myself if i had a cookie one day. I worked out pretty much 5 days a week, and just kept a really positive attitude. I lost it way before Christmas, so I need to set another goal, but I am so glad I did it! hope y'all were successful!
Lessons & tips: don't put yourself down if you don't make the goal, consider what you are doing for yourself a good thing and that even if the scale never moves, you are at least making your health better.
Resources: A workout buddy, my ipod, fitness magazines, and writing in a food journal

well, when i stepped on that little thing that so many of us fear, I had lost a few more. I am down about 13 in total! yay. I still have a month to go, but this weekend showed me that I must stick to my original plan. I could see myself going to my old eating habits! stay away, chili’s buffalo chicken salad! after I ate it, i felt so sick, like the food was not being digested properly. eww. So I went to work out, and I felt better after, so that was good. Good luck ladies and gents. This Thursday will be a temptress for all of us.
I never had to watch anything about my weight. Lately I dont recognise myself. I am getting stocky, where I used to be sveldt and it’s been such a long time of being that way I have difficulty adjusting to a new body image.
I am not so far gone that I cant reverse things. 20 Lbs and a few sit-ups will do it.
I have posted elsewhere about giving up booze by Xmas and I reckon that alone will take care of most of the excess, then It should be a case of just toning….............wishful thinking?????

woo hoo! I started last week and i weighed myself last monday, so today I checked and have already lost 6. I know that the body loses a lot in the first week of weight loss, but I am just happy I am already a little more than a quarter done with my goal for Dec. 25th. This week I plan on being a little different with my diet. I also plan on taking at least one spinning class this week along with yoga and more strenght training.

I am currently facing some health issues, so I would like to start dropping some pounds. I figure that i now have about 68 days, that should be enough time to do it. I want to cut fast food out completely and cut the nagging temptation that comes with wanting food! I also plan on doing about 5 days of working out (yoga, spinning, weights etc.) know I can do it, just need to stop talking myself out of it!
