Sofia Woke up the worst mood ever... going to try to AT LEAST neutralize it!
I was bad at keeping this up and stopped studying all together.
But now I started over. And I noticed that it doesn’t do you any good to stop after a while and pick it up after a few months, because you don’t remember most of what you’ve learned.
So I’m at lesson 3 right now, and I’m keeping positive that I’ll be able to speak and read essential Spanish in just a few months! :D

I am learning!

I got a Pimsleur audiobook course in learning Spanish. I listened to it for 30 minutes yesterday, and I already know a little bit of Spanish, YAY!
I still have no idea how to write Spanish though, so I can’t really demonstrate what I’ve learned. But at least I’m on my way!

My brother lives in Spanish and I need to learn some!
I love spanish and think it’s one of the most beautiful languages in the world, so even if he moves back to Sweden, I’ll put my spanish into use every now and then :)

I just took the online final, got a 97%, and am now officially done. Hopefully this will kind of stick with me, or at least not fall out of my head all at once. I’m actually pretty proud of myself, all things considered, even though it was kind of a conversational crash-course; I know a lot more Spanish now than I did when I started, that’s for damn sure.

Almost there! I’ll mark this goal Done when I’ve finished my online crash course.

Hey, I’m actually finally doing this! To occupy my summer, I’m taking a short online course in learning useful Spanish (“Speed Spanish”) and I’m actually really enjoying it. One of the instructors that I shadow tutor for is from Colombia, and she’s really good about explaining things like pronunciation.

I’m always interested in meeting people from other cultures and showing in a real way that I’m interested in their origins- since I’ve been hanging out with a friend from Colombia, I think it would be, I dunno, respectful? Appreciative? Those aren’t the right words, but I think it would be cool to at least learn a little; not to mention that learning a little Spanish could be useful later on.
