I should focus on doing these things to help raise my GPA:
- clean out my binder
- organize my binder
- file old papers
- study regularly/ establish a study routine
I’ll see how it goes from there
How I did it: I now have a 4.0, and in the past I had much lower than a 2.0. My grades started improving just as soon as I got into high school and realized how easy it is to do well. I had to make some sacrifices with going places or hanging out with friends, but aside from that, easy as pie. Now that I'm doing so well, I feel like I'm respected more by both my parents and my teachers.
Lessons & tips: The key to getting good grades is to do your homework every night, and
go to your teachers when you don't understand something. They are there
to help you out. Take the classes that interest you and pay attention
in class when the teacher is explaining something important. Take all
opportunities for extra credit.

In high school, I could pull off a 3.5 with my eyes closed and never having done any work (that includes my AP classes).
College is a different story. Especially when you attend a school that doesn’t really have a campus. There’s so many OTHER things to do, it’s hard to make it to class. Then you end up with a B- GPA :(.
Well, this upcoming semester things will change, and I will make school a priority. Because having to pay the amount of money I have to pay to go to school makes me motivated to make it money well spent.
I got my winter semester course grades in and my first year in university: 3.25. So close yet so far. I’ll just have to slowly make my way up. Question though, a GPA in the states is out of how much?I heard its higher than in Quebec which is out of 4.3.

Total 3.25 + extra credit for AP class : 3.50
I had a 3.5 GPA until I got my last class grade: C. So it dropped to a 3.08 :(
Stupid prof was a major bitch. But its my fault for not studying enough and taking that class seriously cause she gave the exam questions ahead of time. Damn my cockyness.

At the moment I have a 4.0, but its just progress reports, so it dosen’t mean anything.
