Now that I know I’m narcoleptic, my life makes a lot more sense.

I’ve hit my snooze button for at least an hour every morning. It’s so rediculous that I set my alarm an hour earlier than when I need to wake up. That’s a whole hour of uninterrupted sleep I could be having each morning! I’ll do it one day.
I don’t know what to do anymore!!! My husband is fed up with me not getting up when the alarm goes off in the morning, and he hates to have to wake me up. He feels it’s not his job to have to wake me up, and I agree. I don’t do it on purpose, I just don’t hear the alarm, or if I do, I get up, turn off the alarm and climb back into bed. We’ve had soooo many fights about this and sometimes when we’re having an argument about something completely different, he’ll use this weakness against me, or so it seems. He says I’m irresponsible and that I should grow up, and right about now I can’t say I disagree with him. What should I do? I’ve tried staggering alarms, going to bed early, so far nothing seems to work consistently. I feel my marriage is suffering because of me and eventhough I want to assure him that I’ll do everything in my power to fix this problem, I don’t know if I’ll really be able to. I sometimes feel it’s not something I have full control over.
I ended up being late for work this morning and I didn’t get to wash my hair, either…
the only way this is going to work is to
put thumbtacks on the snooze button…but that’s not very fair to my beloved, he has to get up before me.
Even his alarm doesn’t always wake me up.
I must be genetically predisposed to ignoring annoying sounds in the morning.
I’ve been doing this every day since I moved into the new place. I’m thinking I can consider this done now.
It just helps you start the day better.
You have more time to get ready as well.
Just go to bed eariler.
Pay attention to your body’s needs, and I don’t mean skipping the work/school day to sleep, I mean sleeping at a time that doesn’t leave you yawning all day the next day.
I actually did this today. I think it’s because I’m way overexcited about getting the keys to the new place.
