I used to have my nose pierced, and I loved it…but I eventually took it out after only having it for 2 months. I just couldn’t get used to it. Although, I may do it again once I get the funds back up. :)
How I did it: I thought about it for about 6 months before doing it, and got a
magnetic stud at Claire's just to see if I liked how it looked (the
magnetic stud itself was lame for everyday wear, but it gives you an
idea of what it will look like if you have doubts). I
have several friends who have had it done, and I asked where they recommended and researched online to make sure I was going somewhere
that had a great reputation. Ended up at St Sabrina's in Minneapolis
(on Hennepin). GREAT, professional, cool staff who will answer any
question you have. I couldn't tell you a lot about the process because
I was too afraid to look at anything ;), but the whole thing took less
than 30 seconds and didn't hurt at all compared to what I expected. The
anticipation was way worse :). I'd recommend St Sabrina's to anyone in
the Minneapolis area. Will totally go for my next tattoo.
Lessons & tips: Just study reputation of the business first--a business that is reputable, clean, and safe
One thing that's good to know--you can't donate blood for one year after being pierced (except ears, I believe), so if you are also a donor and would like to keep it up, you'll want to consider that.

I really would like to have this done but have visions of myself sniffing up and the stud disappearing, also do they freeze your nose like when you have your ears done?.
