I photoshopped my hair blue (and I’m not good at photoshopping :P), so what do you think? (Except that it looks fake? ;))

How to dye my hair blue

How I did it: I'd heard a lot of horror stories about bleaching black hair, so I went to a hipster salon and had them do the bleaching and first dyeing. It took almost four hours for the foils and bleaching process, so I'm pretty sure I got my $100 worth. I chose a really dark color (Special Effects Blue Velvet) for a more subtle effect. |

How I did it: I was living in a group home and one of the other girls there and I went out and bought blue hair dye because we were teenagers and had a certain hate on for the world and all of the absurd rules where we were living. We each went into a washroom and dyed our hair blue (with out asking permission to dye our hair as it wasn't something we were allowed to do). It washed out pretty fast but the color was awesome while it lasted. Read how I did it…

Even though my hair has faded a lot and it’s very distinctly green instead of blue now, I think there is still some blue left in my hair. :)
Haha, that photo makes no sense, I don’t even know what I’m doing in it and I certainly don’t know why J took the photo, but I think it’s sort of fun! :D (This was at the zoo on Friday.) And you can see some blueness in there, although very light.
I think I’ll re-dye my hair next weekend or so, then it’ll be blue/turquoise/something again. :) And later on I’ll try a real blue dye!

Can someone help me figure this out:
what colour is my hair now? :D
It’s sort of blue, but not really. It’s more like green, heh. So is it turquoise? I’m not too sure. :,D
Anyways, I’ll call it blue for now & re-dye it with blue once this has faded.
I’m loving it, whatever colour it is. ♥

i’ve actualy already put blue highlights in my hair, but they’re fading, and now they’re green. i just want to keep up with it and keep it blue instead of green, and not let it fade to blond. i don’t like my hair blond.

My friend Elsa asked me earlier this week if we should dye each other’s hair sometime soon, and yesterday while we were shopping together (which was a lot of fun, yay) we got her a brilliant red shock colour and decided that we’ll have a hair dye get-together next Friday, September 12th! n__n
Then we’ll be miss Blue & miss Red! Whee!

I can’t decide wheather i should just do streaks or take a risk and sye it all. I would really like to have all blue hair, but i’m worried it won’t turn out nicely or that people won’t like it. Hmmm…

This goal has been on my list for a few years now and I’ve never come into the situation of actually being able to do it (including the fact that I would have to cut my hair short afterwards to let it go back to my natural colour, which might have been one of the most serious concerns about the whole business), and now, even if I still think blue hair is pretty cool, I don’t feel the need to do it to boost my self confidence. My hair is pretty alright the way it is. And as I like making things like hair falls, I don’t think I need to do it anymore. :-)
