know what i want and go for it whether i feel like doing it or not, i have such a motivation problem!
hmm, well doing a skydive certainly required me to push myself. I think I can only check off this goal once Im unafraid to do everything I want to do though. Now even small little things scare me, so Im not there yet.
want to narrow down what i want…and have at least 2 other goals similair…so um…
Lacrosse is my escape. It’s one of the only places where I have complete control of everything. And becoming better at it, makes that situation and control grow. Today, I pushed myself. I absorbed what I could, I listened, I executed, I lifted other people. Not only is this strengthening my lacrosse skill, it’s strengthening my life skill. It’s learning what I want, knowing what I want, knowing I can get it. I’m on my way to being better as long as I don’t lose this focus.
Well in retrospect I am pushing myself a lot harder than I was in the past, but I’ve found that it’s not really that helpful.
Rather than pushing myself, I’ve found that things I really want to do come easily so I don’t have to push myself.
Instead of trying harder, I need to make things I need to do into things I want to do.
