meet bob dylan

I would LOVE to meet Bob Dylan (Zimmy). I have been crazy about him ever since I can remember! I was born in Virginia, Minnesota in 1950 – I know he was in Hibbing for a long time, though he was born in Duluth. I lived in Duluth for five years; first I went to college there, then I was employed by Royal Allworth. HOW can I realize this dream of actually meeting Bob?? I got to his concerts, but no luck getting back stage. I was neighbors with his former sister-in-law Diane Malmstrom – her son Jason was privileged to receive many of Bob Dylan’s sons’ clothes that were too small for them. Isn’t that something? I was so envious, which I know is a sin, but still – Jason got to wear BOB DYLAN’s kids’ clothes!

I just saw him in concert—I’ve loved his music and poetry for a very long time. I think he’s awesome.

I w3ant to meet bob my main man!

Like everyone else I am in awe of Bob Dylan. I’m sure if I ever had the chance to meet him that I would freeze and not know what to say. If indeed I could collect my thoughts I would beg one request of him….Please explain at least one song to me that I struggle with trying to understand HIS meaning of the song.

Some time ago I entertained myself by changing all my friends names in my phone. I ended up with all sorts of people in my contacts list. My Dad became ‘Paul Newman’, my brother became ‘D.Beckham’, My mate Gertrude became ‘N.Kidman’ and so on. I ended up having to change them all back cos I would get a call from ‘Eminem’ and not have a clue who it was. Worse, I couldnt call anyone as i forgot who had become who. However I left my mate Al as Bob Dylan, since I could remember that one.
This weekend i was down visiting my brother when my phone beeped. We were expecting a message from my father and since i was busy cooking i asked him to see who it was.
“Its from Bob Dylan”, he said.
Knowing it was Al, I said “Oh right”, put down the spatula and texted back before returning to the chilli.
A few minutes later Kev asked, quite meekly, “That wasnt really Bob Dylan was it?”
Sadly not but for a few brief seconds my brother believed that i might actually know Bob Dylan well enough to get a text message from him. For those few brief seconds I was a friend of the stars.

I was in Cork earlier this week and went down to The Corner House to watch Liverpool play AC Milan in the Champions League final with Bob Dylan. We had a couple of pints before the game started and talked about the good old days when we were young and…oh no, wait a second..that was my mate Noel.

Cant believe i spent three whole weeks in America and didnt see Bob Dylan once! Whats all that about? Is the man hiding from me or what?

Over half way down route 66 now and no sign whatsoever of Bob Dylan. Still keeping an eye out but i guess hes doing something else this weather. Unless he pops up in Arizona I think I’m goosed on this one. Cant imagine he’ll show up in California, not his kind of place.

what are the chances of meeting Bob somewhere on Route 66? Ok, slim. But i’ll be keeping my eyes peeled just in case. I imagine its his kind of road.
