Get my kitties back

Got my orange male Echo back! I let my aunt keep my female, though.

I’m in Iraq right now, and the kitties are with family in California. One more year in this hellhole, and I will be back with them, and my family, for good!

My cats are on their way to me right now. While there are serious drawbacks to this, namely that I have a tiny apartment and they are used to living with free access to the outdoors, I am so happy that I finally get to have the cats again. Plus we have a little mouse problem and they will take care of that in no time.

When I moved to New York City I couldn’t bring my two cats with me right away, so my mother agreed to care for them until I got more settled. However, she got tired of them because I was dragging my feet about bringing them here, so she took them to New Hampshire to a friend’s house. Now I don’t know if I’ll ever get them back. On one hand it’s okay because they are happy and healthy where they are now, but it’s really not okay because I miss them so much I can’t even watch a cat food commercial without getting depressed.
