Be the best husband I can be

Rebecca said I’ve already achieved this but I am – and she is as well – a firm believer that life evolves, that we all change. This is not so much a goal as it is a dedication by me to continually evolve as her husband by listening to her fully, supporting her in her endeavors and loving her unconditionally as we experience this life together.

I’m so grateful to have her in my life and ever so grateful that we met and fell in love.

My wife deserves so much praise. She works her ass off, knowing our goal is to retire early, and before that can happen, all debt must be gone and we must become financially independant. To that end, she works all the overtime she can get, never complaines (well, sometimes, but she is allowed to!). I come home bitchy sometimes, and really need to learn to leave my bitchyness outside before opening the door. I have too much to be thankful for when I open the door to see her smile at me and then get attacked by my two kiddos.

Gotta ask myself if I did that… maybe I could have work on a couple things

take a deep breath, maybe even count to 10 and think about what I say and how it might feel. Learn to compromise.
